Yeah, even I’ve made a video. I figured that given the amount of vids I’ve collected since I joined here at GTP, I could do a little something with them.
It can be downloaded here, 'Ridge Drifting'; right click, save as, you know the drill...

It’s just something I made out of love, and extreme boredom I guess. Just so you know though, I put it together with Windows Movie Maker (it’s the only program I have to work with) on not the best of computers. In fact, I had to start from scratch like 2-3 times because my PC kept crashing, and then I'd lose all my progress. I'm lucky I was able to synchronize most of the clips to the beat of the music to be honest.
Anyway, not much fancy editing here. Some of you should be able recognize the song rather quickly though.

And if it seems like there are more than a couple clips from CMD, I just happen to have most of his vids, and his footage was quite easy for me to work with; nevertheless I did try to condense as many clips from different drifters as possible. I also tossed in some images from the “GT3 Drifting Tribute” that Akina_86 made a long time ago. Kind of like an homage to the homage.

Well, hope you like it.

Downloading now....Next time, please link directly to the vid. It's just easier. thanks :)

Editing didn't look bad. But I don't have a soundcard in my computer at work. So I'll have to watch it again later.

nice vidd...

not the best though, but great vid.

TRi's tribute was really great.

No argument here, TRi's tribute was one of the best, if not the best. Glad you liked mine though.

Anybody know any decent applications to make videos? Preferably Freeware if there are any. I'm going to get an ulcer if I keep using the Movie Maker.

Nope, WMM is about the best free one out there that I know about. I use Pinnacle studio and AfterEffects.

Kool, might as well call it DD4.

LOL! Well... he did state that my clips were the most compatible.. mainly because I used WMM2 myself back in the day...

The tribute is a nice idea and was done with what I believe the right intentions... And because of the incompatibility of other vids, some clips could not be used.. and that's a shame... coz there are so much more excellent clips out there...

Your effort is appreciated nonetheless...

Good Job!

Its was a good video overall but, it didn't flow. Hard to explain in words, but try to show more to drifting then the just 360's. I thought there where just to many in there. Other then that its was a great shot.

hmmm I should make that team video.... on topic... this was a good video so far

Thanks for the props, but this is your thread, and that video is old.

I enjoyed it, saw a whole bunch of stuff i've never seen before. guess i missed out on some stuff when i took a break... anyways, i love me a tribute cuz its like a remix of a song ya like. its the stuff ya like, arranged in a different way with some other stuff ya havent seen. i can also see your dedication, 2 restarts would make me rip out my hair and kick the crap outta my puter.

There's a couple free ones out there. i would recommend this if you actually want to start gettin pro with it http://www.avid.com/forms/info.asp?iTrackingID=7682

Looking back on it, I can agree with you actually. I could've added more standard drifts and gone with less choku doris or 360's.

Appreciate the comments people. This being the first video I've ever like 'releasing to the public', I was dying to get some feedback on it. Also, thanks for that link, TRi. My computer doesn't meet some the requirements for that app yet, but as soon as I can get it up to spec (or get a new PC altogether) I'll definitely be looking into it.
