Some kind of recent thread function?

I know there is some subscribed thread thing around, but I find it difficult to use after awhile. On a couple other forums I have a 'recent topics' function that I can easily track the threads I have been posting in. And since I don't post all that often I don't really recall threads that I've contributed to or can even track down my posts. There is a lot of rubbish threads I usually glance over but I just want to be able to participate in the few threads I want to post in.

Could there be some kind of maintenance to help or an update in the future that could add a thread I post in to a watched topics for a certain amount of time?

I suggest two things:

1- Like you said, use the subscribed thread thing. I actually find it pretty convenient; if I see a topic for which I might have some use later, I'll just subscribe to it and read it later.
2- Go into your profile, statistics and then read all your posts, you should see a list of your last posts and the topics they're in.

Yep, thread subscriptions function similar to what you just described:

• If you see a thread you want to monitor, just click "Thread Tools" and then "Subscribe to this Thread".
• To automatically subscribe to threads you reply to, set the "Default Thread Subscription Mode" to your preference in your account options.

Once subscribed, you'll be able to see updated subscribed threads by simply clicking "My GTPlanet" in the yellow box on the top left of your screen.
