Hey guys, when my friend and I are picking cars in 2 player battle mode (even in single player), the car thumbnails take an eternity to load, so we end up just reading the car names. Is there anyway to disable the dumb thumbnails in favor of just text?

Another question... Why can't car and track lists be vertical instead of horizontal? There are so many items to list. Why scroll left and right instead of up and down? WTF Polyphony?

Also, in 2 player battle, the scenery flickers on Laguna Seca once you pass the corkscrew. Anyone else notice this? Maybe one day it will get patched.

Those as you guessed, are, rather unanswerable questions.

I've never personally had a problem with loading times for 2 player split screen, maybe it's you PS3?

'Why do this lists scroll across instead of up and down?', I hear you ask. I guess we will never know. It's just the way it is.

I haven't noticed the flickering on Laguna at the cork screw but will be sure to look out for this oddity in future
 
Flickering is happening to me a lot when I play B-Spec, I think on the Circuit de la Sarthe you see it and also on other tracks that I don't remember at the moment.
 
My PS3 is a 250GB Slim, only about a year old. Maybe I'll back up my save and reinstall GT5. The slow loading of thumbnails on the car selection screen is really bugging me.
