Ok so I'm quoting this from psm. I don't know if this has been posted so here goes.

"Here's a late-breaking bit of news concerning Sony's upcoming uber-racing that didn't make it into our preview on page 70. According to series creator Kazunori Yamauchi, there are plans to let players outfit their cars with new body parts and other cosmetic additions, although to what degree they'll change your car's appearance hasn't been decided."-PSM

maybe they give u bobykits that help with performance (as in downforce) and possibly shave some weight off the car.
 
i hope for body kits but not over do it.................like 2f2f:yuck:
 
yeah i agree... Racing mods like in GT2 would be GREAT!
 
i agree, i hate over the top cars but if they want to sell the game to a range of idiots who rice their cars with a picnic table on top of scaffolding (spoiler) they'll have to include big bodykit conversions too.
