So my PS4's WiFi capabilities gave out recently, plus the PS4's firmware updates are ending this month. I'm likely going to get a base PS5 with the disk drive and 1TB of storage soon, as well as its respective version of Gran Turismo 7. However, once I get it, I was wondering if I should know anything about the transfer process, especially if I want to transfer my digital games and GT7 progress, including GT7's trophies.
I also have the special launch edition of Ace Combat 7, which includes a digital re-release of Ace Combat 5, and I've already played the latter insofar that I have its platinum trophy, so I'm wondering if anything will be lost in the pivot to a PS5 like the music player and whatnot. Funny enough, I've been playing GT Sport/GT7 so much over the years, I haven't touched Ace Combat 7 itself yet, but that'll change soon as AC8 gets closer to release.
Please let me know if there's anything else I should be aware about, too.
