The first 3 Q&A in FAQ section for Enthusia Life Mode

Enthusia Life Mode
Q: Why does my ranking not go up after winning a race ?
A: Is your car higher performance than the rival cars ? The performance of a car changes the odds, you cannot get high ranking points in such a situation.

Q: Why my ranking goes down !
A: The points will expire after 12 weeks. If you acquired a large amount of points in a go, your ranking will drop like a rock after 13 weeks when the points expires.

Q: A week will pass whenever I change my car.
A: A week will pass whenever you enter a race, change your car or take a rest. The other commands will not advance the time.

Thought it would be useful for those who are stuck with the JPN version to post the english help screens.

Enthusia Life main menu:

Main Commands
These are the basic commands in Enthusia Life where
players can join a race or switch cars. A week will pass
in the calendar after using these commands.

Sub Commands
These commands allow players to tune their cars, test
run, and check records. Time does not pass in the calendar when using these commands.

Ranking
You will earn ranking points after completing a race.
The ranking points from your best 9 races out of the past
12 weeks are used to calculate your total ranking points.
Earn points and go for the top ranking!

Skill Level
Your skill level increases as you earn skill points upon
race completion. You can earn more points by avoiding
collisions and not sliding off the tracks.

Enthu Points
These will decrease when your car slides off track or
when collisions occur. When your Enthu Points reach 0,
you cannot join a race in the following week. Your
maximum points and recovery rate will increase when your
Skill Level increases.

Tuning Level
Skill points earned with the car you have driven will
increase that car`s tuning level. Therefore, the longer
you drive one particular car, the more advantage you
will have.

Assist Settings
You will be rewarded slightly higher skill points when
disabling either or both assist features. This can be
changed in the Option menu.

At Year 1, Month 1, Week 1, let`s start our first race!

Before the race:

Here you can check details on this week`s races.

Course
Along with the course name, you can also check on road
conditions, weather, time, and course direction through
the course icons.

Course Information
Total distance, number of laps, number of cars in the
race, and course map are displayed here.

Race
The race suited to your car and ranking is automatically
selected among this week`s list of races.

Odds
This is determined by comparing the car`s ability to
compete among the cars in the race. The higher the odds,
the harder it is to win the race.

Now select a race you would like to find out more about.

Here are details on the race you have selected.

Ranking Point
The ranking points acquired in each race are determined by
(ranking result x race grade x odds)

Race Grade
Each race has a minimum ranking to enter. Ranking points
differ between 10 to 500 points so we recommend joining
the race with the highest grade possible.

Odds
You can choose the favourite and win conservatively but
high ranking points can be earned even when the long shot
make it to the 4th place in the race.

Grid
The cars with higher odds are on the extreme left.
This is also the order of the starting grid. Don`t worry if
your car is last. This means that your car has the most
ability to compete in this race.

Car type
The name of the car is displayed here when the cursor is
on one of the cars listed below.

Press the square button if you want to check other races.
To proceed and join this race, press the x button.

Good luck in your first race!

After the race:

Here we will explain how skill points are calculated.

Basic Points
This can range between 40-60 points depending on the
assist features. Choose more difficult settings to enjoy
sports car racing.

Bonus
Points are rewarded for the course distance covered x
number of laps, ranking results, and also when the
fastest lap is recorded.

Penalty
Points are deducted when you slide off tracks, collide
with other cars or fences, or when your Enthu Points
decrease.

Car
These are the skill points of the car you have driven.
Your tuning level increases when you have accumulated a
specific amount.

Driver
These are your total skill points. Your skill level
increases when you have accumulated a specific amount.

This concludes the guide to Enthusia Life.
For future reference, this guide can also be viewed by
pressing the triangle button.

You can enter RIV with 2 wins or completing 5 races

The Driving Revolution help screens:

This is the indicator. Depending on the car`s speed, the bar inside
will move up and down. The colour of the Indicator and the bar
change accordingly. Adjust speed to hit the Indicator when the
colour is green and the bar is at the centre for a better rating.

A blue indicator with the bar lowered means that the car lacks
speed. Increase speed so the bar will be at the centre when you hit
the indicator.

An orange indicator with the bar raised means that the car is going
too fast. Decrease speed so the bar will be at the centre when you
hit the indicator.

This gauge shows the distance between the car and the indicator.
As the car moves forward, the indicator line will start appearing
from the right.

The indicator with a wave bar is the Acceleration Indicator.
Driving through the indicator faster than their designated speed
will receive the highest rating.

The indicator with an orange marker on the top and bottom is the
Brake Indicator. Use the brake indicator as a guide to time when to
hit the brakes.

This is the DR gauge. The gauge increases when you rate high upon
hitting the indicators, and decreases when you rate low.
It decreases serverely when you collide into the fence or drive the
opposite direction. You can complete the stage when you have a
certain amount in the gauge at the end of the course track.

Unlocking cars for "Free Racing" mode:

You can unlock them by playing the "Driving Revolution" or by driving the "Free Racing" mode with standard settings or harder - difficulty normal or hard and at least 3 laps.
Changing the grid makes the unlock try invalid.

See the key? The key is your key to unlocking new cars.
Hitting other cars, guardrails, fences or leaving the track is a foul and the key will be replaced by a transparent grey flag and you won`t win a car.
So drive clean to unlock more cars!
Other than in the "Enthusia Life" mode, when the AI hits you, it`s no foul. :)
Seems like you unlock all those cars who cross the finishing line after you.

You're ranking is based on your last 12 weeks performance only, the points from your best 9 wins are calculated and your ranking based on that.

Maskrider actually included this in the first post in this thread
