Hey guys ive been visint a few different online communities with a large GT fan base. Im wondering what would you guys think about joining some sort of league or organized race ladder? Ive spoken to a friends whove ive been gaming with for years and he will modify and work on creating some sort of Standing/ Ladder for the game if I can get a big enough user base. Im thinking we hold weekly races for different time zones. This way we dont have to worry about people just looking to smash into eachother and such. Ive gotten enough warm responses from other communities im wondering what you guys think? Is it a good idea? If so im going to make the push and get this going. If not dont bash me.

MR ORANGE....is that your PSN ID too? If so then I have raced with you and I would be more than happy to race you again in one of these organised events! Sounds like a good idea to me.
 
haha yup thats my PSN.. yeah if i get more positive responses and more feedback then i can defiantly make this happen.

hmm you guys already have like the whole base thing setup.. i want to go alittle further and have actually standings and a bunch of other stuff. I know how it is like you guys already have your huge GT community started and its hard to get people to migrate to use another site for something when you;ve got something going here. Id have to do something spectacular.
 
I hope that something like a league online mode where you can get promoted will be part of the final online mode. Something like being placed in races with drivers who closely match your laptimes, or have the same ranking. Close matches will be garanteed and this way you'll get better and better as you ge promoted and are forced to race (slightly) better drivers.
 
I wonder if there will be a webservice in the future to obtain GT5 (ranking) data for internet / website purposes ?

It would be great to show up the rankings for your preferred league...
