Has anyone else entered the track online with the wrong car? I joined a room, entered my garage, and got in my Nissan GT-R under the favorites tab. I go on the track, and I thought my car was ghosted and driving behind another player's car, but it turns out I had their car. It was a black Nissan 350Z (something I don't own) and when I asked the other people the info indicated that I was driving a GT-R.

So... how is that even possible?

Somewhat a new bug. Sounds like the Renault Clio - Calsonic GT-R bug. Did your car perform like a GT-R? Or like a 350Z? In the Clio-GT-R bug the Clios drove just like the GT-Rs.

Actually.. I would laugh so hard if someone thought the Clio was.. Uh. Rubbish against their Evo or sonething like that and they got thrashed to badly! The summary is just because you have a nice car doesnt mean you'll win :-)

No, because it slid around like a Fairlady (giggity?)

It was definitely a different car than my GT-R with racing soft tires, not a 'right car wrong model' scenario.

Something similar has happened to me before. I entered a room called "My cars only!" So when i entered 2 players were racing Citroens and then as i enter my car was switched to a Citroen. Idk if this is the same thing but sounds similar. and i didnt own a citroen either.

It was probably on the Citroen in the Recommended list and he chose that car as the only drivable vehicle in the room. Thus changing you car to a Citroen.

That was my first thought, is that he changed it to a specific car only between my selecting it and entering the course and it simply didn't show me. Nobody else had the problem (or at least mentioned it) so I guess it was an isolated incident.
