Something about the last F1 race and buggy games

I have done 99% of the game, and the only left to do is the last F1 race on Cote de' Azur. Now here are my doubts. Any race that u complete is supposed to advance .6% of the game. Shouldnt it be like 99.4? or 99.6? and the rest .6% add it to the 100% I had the two last races to do. I finish the first one and I thought that would add a .6% but it happens nothing. Could that be that I have a buggy game?

And second. What car did u use. Cuz I find that race to be the hardest one on the series. It is cuz of the stupid AI that keeps on bumping u and losing control of the track and thus losing valuable time.
 
No - what happens is the counter stops at 99.0%, and doesn't change incrementally (the way it did up to 99.0%).

So what happens is you'll get to 99.0%, do a couple of races (and the counter stays at 99.0%), and then when you do the final race it clicks over to 100%.

We covered this in an earlier thread, and we speculated that the designers were trying to avoid the rather embarrassing bug from GT2 where you could only acheive 98.6% even though you finished all the races, and they may have incorporated some function to ensure that when all available races were complete it would show 100%, even if a couple of events were left out at the last minute.
 
Oh yeah - use the fastest F1 car you have.

Hey that happened to me too, and when I did the Monaco race I got 100%.
