Something Odd I seem to have found

When I was tuning my New Volksy Beetle I did all of the engine upgrades, like I always do, then I got to the performance chip. For some reason I was actually paying attention to the horsepower readings and realized that putting a performance chip on this car actually hurt the hp not helped it.

Kind of odd, and I don't feel like looking through all of the threads to see if this has already been mentioned. Has anyone else noticed this?

Just a quick question: Did you make sure that all the other variables stayed the same? I mean, like you didn't happen to at the same time do something else that would possibly remove HP, because a chip should never remove hp. (I have noticed that sometimes a lightweight upgrade will take away hp... not sure why, but it always happens on the Subie Rally Car.)

Otherwise, I wouldn't have a da•ned clue.

yea, it is impossible to remove hp.

What can lower hp is getting a N/A tune up after u have a turbo in it or vise versa
