i dont know if this is just me not expecting this, but have any of you all ever watched the beginning intros? like when u dont hit a button on the main menu where u select arcade/simulation mode. well, something strange happened. i was reading posts here, when all of the sudden i heard a sound...

16000 rpms.

yes, it was a demo of the f1 cars. i thought that they were supposed to be a "secret" (last race, "you cannot participate in this race yet" and you cant read its title until u get the s license).

another thing comes to mind, i had the s license before i saw this, so is it like a condition/effect trigger? oh well, just seemed curious to me.......
 
WTF. Neva saw no demo of the f1s and i watched the demos for like 3hrs once to see if the american version had the diablo.
 
I've watched most of the intros, and I think you get the F1 intro once you get the S license. I got my first S licence at the end of last year, and that was the first time I got to see that intro. Before that, there were only the regular intros. So...the F1's are a "secret" until you get a S licence....or figure out the rubber band trick (or run your miata around Apricot a LOT). Then again, there's that "mismatch" replay of an F1 against a mini, but I still dont know when you first get to see that one...
 
the mismatch replay, I know, can be accessed in the replay theatre

my game is 100% completed, and i have yet to see that mismatch replay load up automatically....
 
I saw it. Didnt know it was a big deal.. :odd:
 
me either... lol, i unlocked everything so quickly i didnt really notice anything new showing up, except the new ending credit movies
 
You get the mismatch replay at 25% completion and you have to go to Replay Theatre > Demonstration > Mismatch (it's at the bottom)

It doesn't load up automatically. Replay theatre is the only way you can access it.

I know about the rubber band trick for Super Speedway, but for the Miata Enduro?
 
i just did the miata endurance recently.. its a reallye easy race... u dont have to worry about loosing... its just that it took me an hour and somethin minutes
 
I don't think he was implying that you should use the band trick at Apricot Hill... I think he was pointing out two different ways to get an F1 car: the band trick at Superspeedway, or many tries at the Miata race.
 
Hey i checked for the mismatch replay in the demostration area and found nothing. do you have to beat the S license or something.
 
If you have a PAL copy of the game, it isn't in. It's nothing special, just a race between a Mini and the FW/094 I think, but the FW gives the mini a big headstart.
 
The mini simply runs about half of Grand Valley before the F094/S starts his lap. The F094/S obviously catches up and wins.
 
Its actually the F094/h that goes up aginst the Mini. I liked watching the replay a while back. Its the only F1 with the old FIA onboard camera angle. Wish the F094/s had that view.
 
I saw one of the replays had the diablo in it...theyr pokeing me... :banghead:
 
I almost S**t myself because I had my T.V. up loud, as you do. Well I wasn't paying attention and that F1 Intro came on. My Heart rate sky rocketed. :nervous: :scared: :nervous: :scared:
