Something Wrong With My iPod

I updated my ipod with the ipod update on the apple.com site. Then i updated it and it said to plug into the wall. But i dont have the charger for it. Anyone know what to do, i cant listen to anything, and i cant go through menus. It just shoes the charger plugging into the wall and i cant get out of it.

I ran into something similar with my iPod. Scared the heck out of me. I tried hooking and un-hooking the USB cable to the iPod, but that didn't work. Resetting the iPod by toggling the "lock" switch didn't do it either, it just kept on showing a message or logo that said it was out of battery. Finally, I unplugged the USB cable from the USB port that was connected to, switched it to the one on the back of my computer. I don't know if that will work for you, but that's what did it for me. Good luck. :)

sorry if its blurry. thats what it just does, and i reseted it.

I have the 30GB Video iPod, and it was a different logo(it was of a battery, I think). I didn't wait for it to run out of battery, completely. I just switched the USB port, because that's how the video iPods recharges, thru the USB.

Have you tried the iPod forum at apple's website? They also had the technical support via email, I believe.

Theres no way of getting round this unless you have a wall charger.... try and get one from a mate just to plug it in.....

You have to hook up your iPod to a wall charger and plug it into the wall. Then after a few minutes or hours or whatever the time is, it will be fine. You best go borrow one or buy one.

Yes, i'm afraid robin is correct - you simply need to use a wall charger. My friend had this problem with his, and he had to borrow a charger from his cousin to get it to work again.
