i wish more rob zombie was in instead of lenny kravitz,that would be cool if metallicas song would be in there too.rap is bad for racing soundtrack.this goes to you snoop,but i still like that song,doggs turimo 3..........

Other games are capitalizing on newer songs that have been great hits among youth and all ages. Limp Bizkit comes to mind. More upbeat songs that make the driving more intense and wild.....!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Well I think several Limp Bizkit songs would be great, but I just like Limp Bizkit to a certain extent. I have a hockey game here that has Rollin' on it, and it's an awesome adrenaline rush to smash someone through glass while that song is playing :rolleyes:

I like Rollin', My Way, and a few others. I'm not the biggest fan though, nowhere close. :)
 
Some Linkin Park would be Awesome, Papercut is a great song to drive to. I agree that some Metallica would rock, maybe some stuff off S&M. Also Break Stuff by Limp Bizkit, maybe some Rammstein and Deftones. Saying all this heavy stuff though, I was listening to Pink Floyd while doing the Rome 2 hour race :D
 
Well, I would also wonder about some of those techno songs. I am not too familiar with them, but they have a lot of extra beat and hype to them... or soemthing like that :p

That could spice up the driving experience.....

How about an interactive song?? Something that would jam while you're driving, then as you approach a car in front of you it speeds up, then suddenly changes to a heartbeat sound?? Then you get the pulsing sound that could make you sweat just pass a car that is going 20 mph slower :sleep:

Maybe that heartbeat would speed up while you have a little harder time passing the creep cause he decides to tailfish to keep you behind him. Then after you pass him, the pulse slows down again. Then you get that wonderful little "bum-buhhhhh" sound.... Wicked huh?? :rolleyes:
 
I was in Great Falls last year,staying with friends at the Maelstrom AFB.The drive from the airport in Billings was a killer though,we got a hire car called a Prism,1.6L of raw powered golf cart motor :(
 
First off, we're never going to agree...I like most of the songs on the soundtrack, the techno and rap get annoying though. The best song on the soundtrack is 99 Red Balloons. I love the Judas Priest and Motley Crue on the soundtrack too. And I am starting to hate nu-metal. Limp Bizkit is one chord you can't even hear and a rapper; Linkin Park is just bathos; Pantera is OK to listen to.

Most of the time, I just turn off all the music and listen to a CD. My PS2 is hooked up to the TV and the CD player goes through the stereo so they're independent. Then I have whatever the hell I want to drive to.
 
How about ACDC thunderstruck :D {us australians might have seen a holden SS ute doing donuts on an add to that song :cool: } or something with some beat or something to get you more into the game. ;)

Yeah you could pretend you were Rob Van Dam while playing GT3 now wouldnt that be great. Doesnt anyone like that Elite force track on the US version of the Game that tune is class. The UK version of GT3 gave me what I wanted FEEDER I didnt care about most of the other songs anyway apart from the overseer stuff that was cool as well.

I want Soil with there Badass song Halo on the Next GT and Motorhead With Bomber and **** Metallica "Enter sandman"
