Today marks Sonic the Hedgehogs (AKA Blue Blur) 20th anniversary! Oh yes, exactly 20 years after Sonic the Hedgehog was released on the Genesis/Mega Drive. SEGA have marked the event by discounting Sonic Stuff on PSN Store and a demo of the upcoming Sonic Generations.

Congratulations Blue Blur for lasting 20 years, you are respected by (Nearly) Everyone!

Wait, demo as in actual playable demo!?

I've already purchased every Sonic game from the PS Store (well, I got the Genesis games for free with my PS+ subscription) but it makes sense to bundle everything together for $20.

Off to check my UK account for a Sonic demo.

Yes it is playable, you play as Classic Sonic. :) Awww yeah, just like the Mega Drive era! But the demo lasts for 20 days, so get Ring Collecting!

I was actually playing Sonic Adventure 2 yesterday, great game, I love Shadows story and voice acting in SA2 and Live and Learn was sheer genius

Hell yeah. Crush 40 the band that made the soundtrack for the sonic games were purely win. But as soon as the new sonic games came out and the songs they composed for them, weren't as good as before...because the games weren't good either.
