Sony Ericcson Xperia ION & other phones

I've finally upgraded from my 5 year old phone to this beast. I was also looking at the S3 for months prior to purchase but when this phone was free for a week I couldn't pass it up. It has Gingerbread but is due for icecream sandwich soon so yeah... 720x12something res its got an awesome front facing 12mp 1080p camera that has this cool scene recognition that can detect landscapes faces etc. The video is great too (with a steady hand) it uses sony's all new Bravia engine. Those familiar with Sony will recognize that this feature is on their HD TVs. Being an Android phone and a lot less like the cookie cutter iPhone4S, there are hundreds of features that your able to turn off and on to save power when you need it and it also even come with a built in widget that is like the power saver apps on the Google play store. Its got 1.5 GB of ram so you can navigate really really fast. It basically ties the S3 and when I saw it for free for a limited time I just had to have it. Let me know what phones you guys have/think are the best out right now (or old or not out yet) and why

I think the Sony Ericcson Xperia Play is one of the better ones because it can play PS1 games, although I must ask, can the Ion do the same?

That feature isn't listed in the specs nor in the User Guide.

*sigh* unfortunately no, but I bought solely as a smart phone and not for gaming, but I looked at the play as well, just too much of a small game system for me and not enough like a smart phone.
