Sony Mini-Micro Vault

I have a 256MB Mini Micro Vault. And I think I may have pulled it out of my PS2 as it was being written to. Now the PS2 doesn't recognize it. My Computer "sees" it, but it says, "insert a disk into drive (x)" I can't view anything on it, nor can I write to it. Is there a way to fix this thing??

I have the opposite problem, my computer won't recognize my USB but my ps2 will.

The flash drive is recognized on other PC's so I guess the problem is in my pc.

I started it over, reinstalled windows and cleaned all the spywares, maybe the usb wasn't installed?

Any tips?

Div is back: Do you have Win98 or below? Then the USB drivers don't come with the OS....

Well I suppose the fist thing I'd do is check if it shows up in device manager (Start->Run then type devmgmt.msc, click OK)...I see the USB mass storage device at the bottom like this:

If you have a red "X" over any of those items, you need to update drivers.

That menu doesn't even show up...the Universal Serial Bus controllers.

I suspect your mobo's USB controller is toast...easiest way to fix this is just buy a USB controller card for a PCI slot, like this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16815201206 (except maybe equivalent at a store that ships to Canada)
