Looky here...

TOKYO--Sony Computer Entertainment Japan has announced a disc exchange for customers affected by controller bugs in the "prologue edition" of Gran Turismo 4, which is currently on sale in Japan.
According to the company’s news release, gamers using two models of Logicool steering wheels have experienced two problems: first, the accelerator doesn’t go to 100 percent, and second, after turning, the wheel cannot be returned to center (turning the controller wheel doesn’t affect the onscreen steering). Sony has invited gamers experiencing this problem to mail in their game discs for a replacement.

Logicool is the Japanese name for peripheral maker Logitech and the affected products are the GT Force and the GT Force Pro aftermarket steering wheels for the PS2. SCEJ is treating this issue as a software problem, so there is no indication at this point that these wheels will have problems with other games, or that U.S. market Logitech products will be affected. Moreover, SCEJ’s news release confirms that this bug does not affect standard Dual shock controllers.

Currently, there are no plans to release Gran Turismo 4: Prologue Edition in North America. The full version of the game is due out in April 2004.

And if you go by the release date at granturismo4.com (April 30) I'd say it's more like May.

what are you talking about??? no one said anything to you about where you posted it. . . we're all just sick of hearing about GT4p and release dates here in the states because first off we don't get it. Evetually GT4 will be released and with the fact that so many threads have been made like this why don't you just search one out and post this article in that. . .

Everyone just calm down - I personally thought the main thrust of the article was the recall. I'm dubious about any release date until the game actually appears in the stores.

Why do people keep posting this news from 1 MONTH AGO!! It's already changed since then.

Search button: use it.

Jeeze chill out, there has been loads of posts about the recall in the GT4P section of the site, this is the GT4 section. No ones jumping on your back, your a new member and there are rules here that you will not have picked up or got used to yet which include not creating copy threads, I know it wasn't intentional but if you go to the GT4P section you can see whats being discussed and what isn't and not put GT4P stuff in the GT4 forums.
