Sony has acquired the publishing rights for a new supercar racing game in development for the PlayStation 2 by upstart Korean developer Axis Entertainment. The game, which is currently untitled, is reportedly scheduled for release early next year. According to company representatives, the game will feature a variety of licensed vehicles and tracks based on actual locations. Axis Entertainment is a relative newcomer to the console industry, founded in July 1999. Sony is said to be negotiating publishing rights for the game outside Korea, although specific release dates remain undisclosed. Nevertheless, below are a handful of early screens from the game.

Yeah! but we had a thread about this game here before.
Apparently the work in progress title for this game is called get this "racing game"

Looks coo though, I can see a Mclaren and a lambo in that bottom screenshot and the middle one looks like an NSX.

I wonder why Sony wants to own a possible contender to GT...

I smell an arcade game, not a simulator. Not that that is a bad thing, but it wouldn't compete with Gran Turismo.

I'm tired of "arcade games". I like simulations and RPGs. But not RPGs in the sense that I have to build up a character through killing countless demons and "leveling up". That just has bad conotations.

GT3 is an RPG race simulator. Interesting and fun.

it looks like a simulator looking at the graphics but at the same time i cant really see another simulator other than gt series which is realistic and has more than 40 or so cars
