This sucks. That car is my baby and someone just decided they would take it like it was theirs. Then to make matters worse i could hear them leaving and they were slamming through the speed bumps in my neighborhood in my lowered car. I wish the other cars werent in the garage so we could chase them but they are Hondas and in Vegas that will get stolen way faster than my sentra. We're thinking it was a joyride and im hoping to god it doesnt come back stripped. Dont modify your cars people, someone will steal it no matter what it is.

Yeah ill post a couple snapshots when i get a chance. Im hoping it doesnt come back stripped its mostly Escalades and Hondas that come back stripped in this city. These guys are idiots because this is the only completely blacked out Sentra in vegas, and every racer knows my car and they are looking for it.

This is what insurance is for, so don't get too down over this. You can replace cars, much worse could happen!

But I do understand your dilemma, and I do feel for ya'.

If you get it back, you can make it better than it was before!

We've got a theif that's been on a 20+ car streak. Burglarizing and stealing, and the police haven't found him yet.

Unless, like he's been saying, come back stripped. That would be nasty. :nervous:

I hate people who steals. I understand you make mistakes when you are young, but I wish our laws are tougher against crimes like this.

Sorry about your car, buddy!

As long as you reported your modifications to your insurance company you're protected. But, chances are you like 99.5% of the rest of us didn't because our rates would increase. I hope your car comes back in the shape it left your house in, I cringe everytime I hear about someone's car being stolen. Its like stealing your child...well to me it is anyway.

It's one of those things you hear about from other people yet you still don't realize it happens, until somebody you know has it happen to them.

That really sucks dude. I'm sorry. If you don't get it back very soon, I would say it will probably be stripped out. There isn't a lot you can do with a unique car around where it was stolen except sell the parts. You certainly can't drive it. Either that or it's a long long ways away.:indiff:

Wish you the best.

Oh man i really feel for you...really hope it doesnt come back stripped lol. Good luck on getting your car back in one piece and no im not being sarcastic i actually mean it.

That suck man... Hope everything gets worked out for the better. My car has been broken into 3 time so far IN MY DRIVEWAY. I don't give a **** about the car anymore and there isn't anything of value or everything that is, is ****ed up. It gets me from A to B. I use Juiced 2 and NFS: PS for nice cars because they won't get stolen or anything. Sad...

I'm not in THAT ghetto of a neighborhood but it has gone downhill...

This is what insurance is for

What is it for...?

Hope you get your car back, and not stripped either :( Our Laser (which was sold a few weeks ago) got broken into MANY times, but never got stolen. It had absolutely no mods to the interior, they broke in, messed around with the ignition but it somehow never got stolen (And the car had no locks or security for it).

Sorry to hear about that. I hope you atleast get your pride & joy back and that the miscreants are found and punished.

I have nightmares about that happening to me, and they're recurring of course. I always go running out to the garage to make sure it's still there. I panic if I ever have to park my car outside where I can't physically see it for more than a few minutes. My car is one of my favorite things in life, and I really don't know what I'd do without having a car that I've cared for and put this much sweat & money into. I always hate the feeling of getting a "new" (used) car, and you always seem to inherit someone else's problems, which is another reason why I love having the car I have now -- it has no problems and I know it was well taken care of, something that's hard to find these days, especially in Michigan where rust will take a car quicker than quicksand. I'm really sorry about your loss and hopefully things will turn around and you'll get what you rightfully deserve and they reap what they sew.

This really sucks man. About 12 years ago my dad treated himself to a new car for his birthday and it got stolen 6 days later out of our driveway. To add insult to injury we got it back after they flipped it and wrapped it around a tree. It was a black Isuzu Rodeo, it was a nice car.

Theiving pikeys.

These people have no idea how much it costs to maintain let alone buy a car. The person who stole it has probably never had a job and doesn't realise how this sort of thing affects people.

It really makes me sick.

If someone stole my car I wouldnt mind too much as insurance will pay out and then id just buy something better :D

Assuming, over course, the unlikely event that the insurance company gives you back more than your car was worth...

OGSupraFly, good luck getting your car back. I had my car stolen when I lived in St. Louis, and it sucks. But it is just a car. Hopefully it will find its way home in good shape.

They just wanted a joyride. The CDs and stuff were gone but its back unharmed. Well not really unharmed, theres a few new scratches in it but most are buffable.

And yes that is what insurance is for. I have awesome insurance, theft, gap, hell even my passengers medical bills would be covered if i got in an accident. So whew, close call. The CRX will have to share the garage now :D

Excellent! I'm very happy it came back in one piece!

Are you going to have to replace the clutch? Most of the folks who steal cars rarely, if ever, know how to drive stick properly...

Hey, that's not true, I can drive stick perfectley well! :sly:

And those that can drive stick well would be launching it hard at every set of traffic lights they car to stop for.

Nice to hear it's come back not too bad, theft is my worst nightmare.

Yup it just came back a few minutes before i posted that message. Pretty close in the area too. The clutch feels fine too so i dont see a need to replace it, besides that would just give me an excuse to get a race clutch which its not ready for.

It has big time but its back and theres some new plans for it. Lets just say i have my hands on a 300ZX turbo. The turbo itself not the car. Its off a Z32 so its a T22 which means that 1.8 will spool like an SRT4. Now its just a matter of the rest of the parts if i decide to do it. I dont know if i want to void my warranty so soon, its already a PITA to get it repaired under warranty with the aftermarket on it already. Time will tell... But theres a forum where someone has already been putting together a NICE setup with that turbo so maybe ill follow in his/her footsteps.
