Asking here in the general forum to avoid biased opinions of any of the title-specific forums.
Been out of sim racing and PC gaming in general for quite awhile but having some spare time/cash and I'm building up a new rig to have some fun. So many titles out now and wondering where the best online racing experience is? Like forget about (to a point, at least) best graphics, physics, sheer number of cars, tracks etc, what's the tops when it comes to:
- quality of the net code and the online experience in general
- large and activity community of people to race with that aren't "three turns and take out as many other people as I can"
- decent rating system to weed out the douchebags
For online racing I don't even really care so much what the series is - it's more important to find the place where people who are into having quality races are spending their time. Whether that's NASCAR trucks, F1, historic GT, or whatever.
So.... where is it?
