Sort threads by start date?

Any way to do this? You can sort by start date after searching by key word, but I'm more interested in seeing all threads by start date. Unfortunately the forum search won't let me search without putting a keyword in. :grumpy:

Edit: Specifically the Online Racing section.
 
A slightly different issue but still relating to searching:

How come it seems that the ability so search for threads using the search bar when not logged in has disappeared? I swear you could do it before. Or is my memory just really bad?

Under "Sort Results by" in search it has an option to sort by thread start date.

I already said that. But, I also said that you can't start a search unless you have put a key word into the box before hand. It won't let you submit without something being there.
 
In a forum, scroll down to the "Display Options", look for the "Sorted By" field and select "Thread Start Time".
