You can't send DLC cars, so the GameStop NASCAR might as well not be on the list. :)

That's not true. I select "give to friend" and a list of my friends with GT5 pop up. PAL players may not be able to obtain it, but I'm certain NTCS and PAL users co-exist on the board. I can also give away or, trade the Chrome line Collector's Ed DLC. It doesn't mean I'll trade all of them away (definitely no my stealth McLaren).

However, if - for some reason someone trades for it and I go to send their chrome line or GameStop car and it says "I can't" - the other person will get their car back.

All DLC cars are unable to be sent, why do you think they go for so much on eBay? Because they cannot be duplicated. Common fact, dispute if you want, but you'll just end up getting yourself in a sticky trade situation.

That is true, and I have the Ferrari P4 race car, but my eye did not catch any interesting cars......... Take a look at my garage below

I think they go on ebay for so much because people are stupid, not because they can't be duplicated. Irrespective of the fact they can't be duplicated, DLC and game items are only as valuable as the game is popular or supported thus the consumer problem with DLC and long term value or collectible status.

I appreciate the tip on the DLC, I'll pull them from the list of items, though you shouldn't assume what I may or may not end up in. Thanks all the same.

That's looking into it too deeply. They were limited to certain purchasing situations (preordering). Not everyone did that. The people that didn't still want them. Some want them enough to fork out lots of money for them. Talk about 'consumer problems' all you want, if someone wants the Stealth cars they missed out on enough to spend their money on it, they will.

(One of the reasons I've argued back is to bump your thread to help you find trades, you're welcome)

Yes, not everyone pre-ordered. My point though, was that the price is high on ebay because of laziness and stupidity, plain and simple. And, those are problems with the consumer not the developer. By all means, if someone wants to sped 30 real world dollars on a car that, they can show and maybe drive for a bit - great... I'd rather buy something I can get a return on. 10 15 years from now when someone sells the collectors ed. of GT5, the DLC isn't worth crap, but the material things are what have intrinsic value. That's all I'm saying. I guess it is a different philosophy than some have, and that's cool too. To each their own.

Thanks for the bump.
