Took the Ferrari F1 out for a lap on Circuit De Sarthe and all I could hear was a wind noise like I was driving in a wind tunnel, and to make matters worse,my Driving force Gt was shaking violently throughout this run. is there any way to revert to the prior version? Not liking what I'm seeing at all from this update.

And the first unhappy one finally made his appearance...

JK, bro. I don't think you can revert to the previous version without deleting every single update you've done so far. You'll get used to it, trust me :)

Same here. Both hood view and cockpit view .. all I hear is wind noise.

I'm about to get brave and... go to bed. :D But I have a few questions for those having issues.

Where do you guys live on the world?

And are you using surround sound receivers or stereos? Or headphones or TV speakers?

So GT4 problems all over again. Way to go PD...

If you were sitting on the hood of a race car, what would you hear?

And the Wind noise in Cockpit view is not that bad...

It was way worst in GT5P.

The wind noise was significantly increased yes... But would you even think that there's no wind noise at all when driving at over 200 mph?

I'm actually glad that PD got the sounds spot on this time.

I used the wind noise to determine whether or not I was in the draft of other cars in the new seasonal events. Helps to know when you're going to get a boost of speed before running up on someone.

i dont think wind noise is a problem , driving over 200 mph it will make storm noise .

but there is other problems with noise , open online lobby get close to your friend and see what happen to the cars noise .

that's probably how it is at 200 mph with bumps on the road. Shaking is fine.

Great news, I'm glad to welcome wind back to the game, I have been missing it for a long time.

Is it gone?

I thought it was already adressed long time ago

THEPUNISHER
well it got worse now i cant hear my friend's car and my own car . :ouch:

I had that happen tonight as well, kinda sucks.

Biggest issue I have found with the new sounds is when you get close to the back of another car you lose almost all engine noise (both your engine and those of the cars you are racing) - a bug methinks.

But overall apart from that I think the sound effects have improved. Note how PD put lots of big engine American cars in the on-line dealership and the new seasonal event to promote the new racing sounds :-)

i am using the Sony 7.1 surround headset and i like the improvement done.

i dont have any problems or perhaps my satisfaction level are not as high as those who dislike it.

In our online room tonight the tires were silent. Literally silent driving. Made noise when watching though.:dunce:

Pretty far from "spot on" if you ask me...
