Hi, I'm sure a few people will know by now that I only venture into this prat of the ste when I have an issue I'm having trouble with :D. But anyway the help I've recieved has been very good and now I'm faced with another issue.

Earlier today my PC's power unit went, since the PC was old and unbelievably unstable I opted to buy a new PC. Nothing fancy but slighty better than what I had and not breaking the bank. Unfortnately new PC's tend to come with Vista, tbh almost everything with it so far is fine but the PC didn't come with a 5.1 surround card, i didn't think this was a big deal since I already had one I bought fairly recently for the old clapper. Except I can't get it to work with Vista.

The card is a Philips Ultimate Edge PSC724. I have tried the standard drivers it came with and the sound works but the PC randmoly (or seemingly randomly) crashes. I uninstall it and it works fine. I've tried Philips web site and there's no drivers for Vista on there for any of thier cards that I checked including mine.

Does anyone know r have any idea if there are any standrad 5.1 drivers for Vista that I can download or if somewhere I can find a work around to this problem?

Any help is appreciated.
