i hope the sound design is better than gt3, i often found my self saying "that car doesnt sound like that" they recycled many of the egine sounds, also the bov sounded lame. how come there was no change in engine sound when you purchased exhaust. The tire slindin sound was the worst out of all of them. Also when are they goin to adress the issue of how weak the smoke is. anwyas thats my 2 cents.
 
nah, dude, that was worth a nickel. I agree, the sounds are a little odd. Oh! and i hope they fix up the menus too. Those sounds are annoying to me.
 
PD took real sounds for most of the cars in every GT series. The tire sound effect is the best I've heard in a game. Performance exhausts don't always change the sound of the car.

Adjust your volume.
 
Welcome to GTP kobes.

Many people have criticised the sound in GT, and whilst some people feel it authentically replicates the sounds of racing, just as many feel the opposite. Either way, I think we hope all aspects are improved come GT4, even those not necessarily lacking.
 
Viper zero, your very wrong, trust me. TBH i think GT4's sound might seem abit crap now that I have played GTR.
 
Yeah everyone seems to be heaping praise on that game.

No Code Kev, the best I have heard, as in my opinion. It's not wrong. GT is still has the best vehicle sounds I have heard.

As for The Cracker's question, GTR is a game developed by SimBin and is sanctioned by FIA GT.

And for the sound of GT4, I found interesting pics showing PD members recording sounds from diferent cars and tracks...

What have you not played any other racing games since 1985 apart from GT or something? Gt best vehicle sounds, sure it has! Mw ahahahahahah BW AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA *dies in a fit of laughter*

You opinion is WRONG in this case, it's like me claiming my desk is a banana and saying I'm right because it's my opinion.

Some times opinions are wrong, is my desk a banana because in my opinion it is? No.
 
My first post here so uh, Hi...But anyways....

The engine sounds in GT are weak...they are accurate for a few cars...but for others they are way off...lets take the all of V8's as an example...they all sound like highly tuned lil 6 cylinders...because im a domestic muscle guy this is disapointing...ive never heard a z28 camaro sound like it does in GT...

GTR has real nice sounds...and Nascar Racing 2003 also had very impressive sounds...In both of thoes games they sound real and not 'arcadey'...the engine sounds in GT have no rumble they are all high pitched and 'winey'

I agree with Motorer1 about the menu sounds too...after a while they get annoying...especially when you are tuning your car and you have to hit OK about 50 times before buy the part...

Perhaps he hasn't. Irrelevant. GTR isn't even out yet so 1985 was a great year to pick out of the air.

Within your own little microcosm you are actually right, because you've just redefined a desk into a banana. Irrelevant once again.

If GT has the best engine sounds he's ever heard then that's that. Sometimes opinions are simply wrong, because they're misinformed and unfounded, this isn't an example of that however.
