Sound Issue with '10 Camaro

I have not driven my '10 Camaro for a while. Since before I transferred my saved game to a new PS3 and after several updates. Dont know when this happened. Well, I drove it today for the American seasonal event and noticed that in cockpit view...the sound is really quiet and does not reflect any of the mods (670ish hp, race trans, race exhaust, etc). I still get tire sounds and other car sounds. Also, when I look behind me (cockpit), the sounds are accurate as well as any other view (chase, hood, bumper). I also have a '10 Camaro RM with less, but yet similar mods and it is accurate in cockpit. Is there any way to rectify this and has anyone else had this issue? Gonna check the rest of my cars as well. Other than that car so far have been fine. I use many cars and dont stick to any specific car as it makes you lack in skill with the different varieties. Thanks:)

My stock 2010 SS sounds OK, maybe a little uneven but not quiet at all. Odd that your RM doesn't sound the same, maybe I should check the rest of mine.

It seems like the location of the sound source has become extremely isolated with the new patch somehow, for some cars. You've always been able to produce a similar exaggerated effect front-to-rear by looking backwards from chase-cam. Now for some reason that appears to be happening from other angles, and left-to-right as well.

See my post for a possible solution?

I had the same problem with a number of cars

Thanks for the link. I checked all my sound settings. I have my PS3 hooked up to surround sound. There is only one option on my TV for that.
Havent tried it yet as I have not been on, but I wonder if I remove all the "mods", drive it, then reinstall all the mods, if it will fix the issue....
