Sound options and engine sound

For those who have the game:

I have a Logitech Z-5500 sound system, what option should I choose between Living room, small theater and big thearter. THX.

Right now I have selected small theater. It sounds very good.

I bought yesterday the GT-R, for some events in class B, a I seems (at least, that`s what I think) that the car sounds different than in the JPN version, I do not know if it is beacuse they changed the sounds or becuase the options sounds I have talk about.

I like this sounds better.

I hope they have indeed improved sound or focused their attention on it to change it. PD really needs to realize sound is one of the most important sensations when racing.
 
I bought a Logitech Z-5500 sound system on Sunday, i have it set up round my GameRacer Pro Seat with the sub behind the seat, at the mo it is set to large theatre, sounds awesome. 👍
 
I've been thinking of getting a Z-5500, all these comments aren't helping...

How much better than just a cheap 2.1 system are we talking, as far as engine notes sounding that bit more intoxicating?
 
You can't go wrong, read the reviews. They just sound AWESOME. Can't wait to get the F1 and hear that down Fuji straight :)
 
My PS3 is connected to a 5.1 Pioneer amp + 11 inch subwoofer + 5 high quality JMLabs speakers.

GT5 Europe is set up for large theatre and the sound is excellent. Way better than the Japanese GT5 !

I tested it only with 5 cars (ITR, Capuccino, Evo IX GSR, GT-R and 135tii). It sounds more... real !

How much better you say.... Gee!! let me think....You will be amazed hoW the engine soundS on your back, the pianos (white/red things on the turns) are awesome, If you drive a left turn you will hear just the left tyres the same for the right tires. When you go fast it seems that there is real wind on your living room.

Did you guys feel the change of sound of the GT-R?
 
I have the Japanese version, I switched from small theatre to large theatre recently since playing on small theatre for the past couple of months and the engines noises definitely sounded louder while my BGM kind of "whispered" in the background! That and I've maxed all the sound effects and lowered my BGM. I'm using a Creative Inspire 5700 by the way.
 
I have Z-5450 and I use Big Theatre, best sound, IMO. You should use that, too.
The BGM sound is much lower (that's okey), but the cars have a much better sound and give more of a "roar".
 
Are the Logitech game speakers seriously accepted as "home theater"? Man, I have a Klipsch and NAD stereo system with a 12" subwoofer and I chose "Living room". Think I should change? Seriously, this isn't irony.
 
have 5.1 surround amplifier from yamaha,coppled to a bose allround set(incl subwoofer)..have the sound ingame set on large theater and can only say ....wwwoooowww!
 
Big theater! I am running a Marantz preamp through a sony amp with PSB 800's, bose studio monitors for rears and headrest speakers (on the rear channel) in my iCush vibe seat :)
