Hey guys
Kind of a tech noob question but
Im getting the driving force gt and the only place my steering wheel will fit is on my desk, with my computer monitor
The problem is, the monitor only has the yellow wire input for the yellow red and white wires which means theres no sound

So how do i get sound seperately?
 
I'll assume your monitor doesn't have speakers or you don't already have some computer speakers?

If you have a radio with audio inputs, you can route the red/white to the radio and use that.

If you need the whole thing and want to do it cheap, you can pick up an RCA to 3.5mm adapter (just make sure you get the right one - all female ends) and an inexpensive set of Logitech (for example) speakers and the prices go up from there.

I also don't see that exact speaker on Best Buy's site, nor was I expressly suggesting that exact speaker. It was used mainly as an example. Your best bet is head over to Best Buy, Walmart, Target, etc. and take a look at and listen to the floor models and decide which one you like. 👍
 
You could always got a 2.1 system(2 regular speakers and a subwoofer) if it's just for your desk. You do miss out on the low end if you don't have a subwoofer. I found this 2.1 system to be really nice since it has wired controls(plus aux input on wired control) and you can easily get this to hook up the audio. You can order from this site since it's a Canadian website. Good luck on your setup.
 
Your monitor has speakers? If you are looking for an adapter to a 3.5mm jack then just follow TB's link. Monoprice might be able to ship to Canada.
 
yeah i know i was wondering if they had that adaptor at best buy or something so i checked it out but they told me the only place i could find it was online like tb's link
