Sound?

Hey,
I just got GT and started with the simulation disc. I don't have any sound what so ever. I'm thinking I should at least hear the car's sounds. What's up with that? Can anyone tell me what's wrong? I've been looking but I can't find any answers elsewhere.

With either Playstation, if you have it connected to the TV wrong, I.E. with the white and yellow connectors crossed or the red hooked to the TV instead of the yellow, you may have problems. If it's the PS2, you may need a special connector (available at Radio Shack) to hook up thru/in line with the VCR.
Hope it's this simple, and an easy fix.

The sound volumes may also be turned down in the menu. Try checking the connections first though.

Thanks alot for your suggestions. I had checked the lines initally and thought everything was ok which is why I suspected something more was wrong. I decided to unplug and start over and voila I have sound! Thanks again.
