Hi folks
Due to what i think was a poor soundtrack to GT3 (i only liked the feeder songs :yuck: )

This is what i think PD should include in the GT4 Soundtrack: -
1.Alice DeeJay-Better Off Alone
2.Cardigans-My Favourite Game
3.Special D-Come With Me
4.DJ Sammy-Heaven
5.DJ Sammy-Boys of summer
6.Darude-Sandstorm (original)
7.Feeder-Just A Day
8.GoldFrapp-Strict Machine
9.Narcotic Thrust-I like it
10.Oasis-Dont Look Back In Anger
11.No Doubt-Dont Speak
12. Alice Cooper-Poison
13.Aerosmith-I Dont Wonna Miss A Thing
14.Queen Bohemian Rapsody
15.Fountains of Wayne-Stacies Mom

Well that was my £2 wodda think.

p.s that is not all the songs i would like on the GT4 Soundtrack, just a selection.
 
I also consider that to be a poor soundtrack, mind you.

My point is: the cars, the tracks, the options and especially the soundtrack will never satisfy everyone, since each one of us has their personal tastes.

Fortunately you can always turn it off, as I always did in previous GT's.
 
Some good songs there. But as DiabolicalMask said, they'll never please everyone with their final soundtrack. It's all down to personal taste in the end. When racing online it would be nice if you could connect to a online radio station. But I think that's asking a bit too much.

How about they let you upload all your fave songs to the HDD and you can listen to them if the soundtrack provided doesn't tickle your ears.

best sound track (licensed music) in a game ever: Tony Hawk's pro skater (1) Ps1

runner up: Grand theft auto Vice city

best score in a game ever: Halo (xbox), BG&E (all consoles), MOH Underground (ps1), Half Life (pc), KOTOR (xbox)

runner up: Call of duty (pc)

Future titles that look to kick ass sonically: Killzone, Halo 2, Half Life 2, GTR

All just my opinion. Feel free to add yours.
 
Wrong best score in a game ever is Final Fantasy Tactics there bub..

At least to me it is. ;) But we all are entitled to our own opinions. Test out some Tactics music and you'll be pleasantly surprised.

What more to say? I could suggest FFX or FFVII as great scores too but then i'd be pushing my luck now wouldn't I?

Most people seem to feel FFX was far weaker than previous releases, I still enjoyed it. FF8 will always be special to me, and with that I won't be hijacking this thread any further.
 
people, we're going OFFtopic again....this isn't working!

The need to put in a whole new encyclopedia of soundtracks because i'm getting tired of all the old ones. And please change these dumb FX sounds in the main menu, every time you click on one of the buttons you'll hear BLIEP!!! :ouch:
and after 3 Gt games it's becoming pretty annoying.
 
Just turn off all the sounds. They're never going to be sufficiently non-offensive as to cater to everyone and it's a waste of time and space trying to do so, so if you don't like what you get, find another solution. They'll do what they normally do, provide a compromise that should please a reasonable amount of people. What more can you reasonably ask?

If your talking about the "i hope the music in gt4 doesnt suck like gt3 did"

nope, you're about a year too late. threads about this subject started coming up about a year ago, since gt4 was meant to be released sept 2003 :grumpy:
