Spa Francorchamps: Penalty

So I missed the braking point at Spa and overshoot the start/finish straight. Instead of immidiately turning back onto the track, I did what you should do- proceed slowly to the pit end of the zone and re-join the circuit. And I've got a double-whammy penalty for doing that. WTF? Did noone had a copy of the racing rules at Spa? And you get penalties for following the standard lines of IRL Spa. WTF?
