Ok, so I came up with this series when I discovered someone trying to organise a race between various stock fiats at a custom Toscana-based track.
They were inviting various keen racers to join them for what I think was a one off race event.
Then I realised a permanent series where various fiat models could compete with each other was a genius idea, but as I discovered today when testing both the Panda and the premium 500, a lot of work and testing was needed to create a formula that would make all the cars competitive.
My current formula that I devised is as follows;
FF fiat road cars only
Max. Bhp: 135
Min. Weight (for car built after 1989): 750kg
Min. Weight (for cars built before 1989): 652kg
Max. PP: 410
Tyres: limited to sports hard
All cars MUST have;
Fully customisable transmittion
Fully customisable suspension
Rigidity improvement
Clean oil
Cars must not have;
ANY drivetrain modifications
ANY body parts that give an aerodynamic advantage
Second hand cars may have general maintenance e.g body rigidity restore, engine overhaul and oil change.
Tuning is open within the regulations
If you are interested in competing, please comment below, the more interest the better. Racing will not begin straight away, as more refinement of the formula and many other things, such as teams, events and fixtures need to be finalised.
