Finally got around to getting rid of the RL and getting a more fun car. It's a 100% bone stock, clean title 1996 Integra LS, just shy of 100k. Exterior has seen better days and it has paint fade on roof and hatch. but interior is flawless for a 17 yr old car that has never been garaged. I've had it for about 2 weeks now and I have a feeling I'm going to like it a lot, even though it does have a few issues. Unfortunately I may have overpaid a bit because of the issues that have arisen.
All fun until I noticed....
Quickly got the parts and with the help of a friend was able to change the plug o-rings and valve cover gasket.
Now it has a knock/tap on cold starts but it goes away with driving so not gonna worry about that yet. Not rod knock. I do have plans for modification but it will be slow. Looking to do suspension first then think about swaps and paint. I also really really need new wheels cause these steelies are cramping my style
. I love the way work meisters look on these cars but they are omigod expensive. and DDing on expensive wheels just seems like a lesson in depreciation. so probably just gonna pick up some GSR swirlies or fat fives.
