Ok so here is my problem. Since the update I wasn't receiving any money from online races. So I went ahead and deleted my game data. After a tortures 8 hour wait I finally got back online. Only to find that I now get my money but no multiplier. Before I deleted my game data. After I finished a race the money box and xp box just didn't appear. I then reinstalled the game data to find out that I know get my money but no multiplier. After running a couple of races with a friend and asking how much xp and money he had. To find out although I won the races he is still getting more money and xp than me. I'm just about to drop my playstation from a height if this carries on. If any can point me in the right direction this would be really helpful. I have already tried deleting my cache, resetting my router and my playstation to no avail. I'm at breaking point. And clueless on what to do. Apart from reinstalling the game data which is torture. 8 hours of torture to be precise.
I've made a thread because I'm after some help which you are not providing. Im sorry if my thread is in the wrong place. If so the mods can move it. I am about to reinstall my game datafor the second time. Which I'm quite reluctant to do to be honest. And I'm quite intrested to know if any one else is having issues like this aswell. I thought this is what the forums are for. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
I'm sure I haven't reset the multiplier because after exploring a-spec and b-spec races I only get the multiplier in b-spec. My multiplier is at 200%. I'm in for the long haul now any way. I'm reinstalling my game data for a second time. No 1 online that I race with have had any issues with spec 2. I can only hope this solves my issue.
I think this is correct. The multiplier is connected to how many days in a row you've logged in. Once you deleted your game data it lost all that info and now considers this as your first day logged in. Thus, no multiplier.
Try logging in tomorrow, see if you have a multiplier then. I'd bet that you will.
My multiplier is at 200%, but I only get it in b-spec. I have no multiplier in a-spec races or online races. After I updated to 2.0 the first time I didn't receive the multiplier notification message on load up of the home screen. I received money for a spec and b spec but didn't get any money or xp in online races. I did about four races online to see if it I was just a glitch but got nothing for it regardless of my track position. But I got miles on which ever cars I drove. So then I deleted and reinstalled the game data after doing this I then received the multiplier notification. But still had issues.
