I'm at attempt 7 by now but it seems I just can't download the Spec 2.0 update. It keeps aborting telling me:

"An error occurred during the download operation. (80710723)"

I'm about to pull out the last bit of hair I still have.

Is there any alternative way of downloading this update? There's nothing wrong with my internet connection. I never have issues on my computers, tablets or when downloading large files on XBox Live.

Any ideas? I would really like to play the update...

I've not had this issue, but I've heard that having the Media Server option enabled interferes with downloading for some reason. Try disabling the Media Server option and see if that helps, assuming you have this option enabled. Good luck.👍 :)

I'd imagine it's your connection somewhere along the line. I don't see what could be at fault with the PSN or your console.

Perhaps try, like Dmarc_Atl said, resetting you router and the connection.
