so after a 1 year break from GT7 because of frustration and boredom with grinding, i decided to try out the new spec 3 and see if things have got interesting to me again.
WOW!! is all i can say.
without beating the same complaints to death ill focus on the positives ive seen now thats got me hooked again.
with that 1 yr break, i decided to try Motorfest and see what the deal was. ive been playing it almost daily and eventually liked it as much as gt7 so thats good. nice looking game but was lacking the feel of what i loved about gt series. finally after a few months i got used to it,,,,,i came back to gt7 1 time only to see if the loose sliding on ice feel was ever fixed. motorfest has more grip in curves but still arcade like. then saw the update yesterday and thought i give it a look because i did miss gt7.
i downloaded the update and got the power pack. i read about new wheel physics. i tried my first practice run at nurb. i immediately felt the smoothness of the car loosing grip as i self induced them to test what i read. it perfection imo and has renwed the fire to race again. this feels so much better then what has been. they nailed it. i adjusted my g29 settings and im running it at 4/4 with controller set at 10. vibration is at 72. now the slip can be felt and actually corrected which was slways hard to do. now it feels normal to a car irl when you start sliding. suspension now feels like it can mimic the balances of a car running fast. i always said gt7 was to icy feeling vs motorfest which had too much grip. i cant wait to try a long nurb race tomorrow. great update!!
