It's server maintenance, that's not to say that the download's going to be available at that time so your title's mis-leading.

It could be available way after maintenance.

The playstation eu blog confirmed the update would come on the 11th but i think kaz said the 3rd week of october.

Well, I would say that, base on playstation blog info, the scheduled maintenance it's very probably relevant to Spec 2.0.
Of course there is some chances that it's not.

PS Spag69, I am making some headways with no driving line and assists. Hopefully I'll join your room in the future

I'm well excited and can't wait to see how many of the standard cars have unique cockpits. I'm hoping that most of the race/rally cars got a little extra love.

I hope this update really does fix a lot of the issues with GT5, the menu interface in particular. If they can get that to run lightening quick I will be very impressed.

After this mad wait is over, it will be time for the next long wait. Extra cars and tracks will be amazing - though I think it's tracks we need most of all.
