Just wondering what polyphony was trying to achieve with this track as it seems pointless. Personally I like playing it to test speeds of cars etc but wouldnt it have been good to use it in A or B spec modes? It would have been a great track for "like the wind".

Your thoughts please,

It's based off a Japanese highway, known for street racing. I must say they did a terrible job, this track is based off something in Tokyo. And the track is bland, has no background scenery.

Yeah they should have used it in like the wind. I dont understand alot of track decisions for certein events in this game to be honest. The old test track would have bein better then this track for testing top speeds.

湾岸midnight...
maybe a blue Datsun & a Black 911 fighting out on that track will give you a bonus trophy...haha

Yes, the GT team is trying to make a GT version of 湾岸midnight club
But in the GT version of midnight club, we do not have 815hp GTR or Lancer.

What we got is 8xxps GT-one or other LMP cars running on it.
We even got F1 car or X1 completing in rain!

the track is great for 500 hp batle road cars online.

and had nothing to do with midnight club (game) is more like Wangan Midnight, ther anime series and the (ps3 ggame)

I like it. Really intense if you have a fast car and it's raining (or snowing!)

Personally I think that this circuit was included in the final game in an unfinished status.
There are several graphical glitches (textures, missing 3d models) and the scenery is essentially nonexistant. Also, it's never used in A-spec and B-spec races.

for me better solution was to re build El Capitan, Midfild raceway or Seattle circuit than make ssr7 and Cape ring:idea:

Where is the road in the Ending Movie? It's clearly where SS5 and SS7 are based, and I'm guessing it's in Tokyo.

Can anyone be more specific?

SS7 is a great track for online racing and it's tougher than it looks on the layout map :)

That is true it does have some tricky corners but it is pointless racing on that track because all people do is bounce off of the walls instead of braking for corners ... The amount of stupidity I have seen from actual people racing on SSR7 is ridiculous!

Again in Tokyo, showing several sections of the C1 metropolitan express loop:

And some sections from the Bayshore Express Route and Daiba Route 11:

By watching these videos you can easily see why in my opinion SSR7 is unfinished. The scenery looks nothing like the real thing!

My thoughts exactly. And Opera Paris instead of the stupid Rome.

And Apricot Hill instead of the boring Madrid.

And infineon Raceway instead of Monza (so-so track, straight, chicane, big radius corner, straight chicane, straight, high speed chicane, big radius corner, straight and thats it).
