Why is this car so much better? Every time there is any sort of drift trial, the speed 12 dominates...what makes this car so much better than every other drift car in the game? Why does it get so many more points?

No idea on the drifting part, but they show up in the UCD and I believe was recently in the OCD. I have one tried to build it into a dragster and it doesnt lock up until im in the top of 3rd, tons of power. So in my opinon its not a great drift car but I have also noticed they are always all over the top of the leaderboards.

Maybe it's because it has almost no traction whatsoever, even on racing soft tires. You can spin out til 90mph or more.

Massive wheelspin all the time. Can barely handle well. Can't even go in a straight line without proper master control. Not recommended for racing.

Because the drift trials are all about spinning your wheels on the racing line, not drifting...

So the speed 12 is the best at this, it spins it's wheels madly and you can go nice and slow on the racing line... racking up big points... The points system is really stupid and really flawed as far as real drifting is concerned...

Yes easy to get top10...just spin wheels

Wow, I never understood the points system...I always thought you had to stay on the inside and get as sideways as possible...ha

If that's the case, the '65 GT350 & '66 Cobra should be excellent point cars as well. I know the GT350 will spin in 5th gear if not tuned correctly, which is amazing for only 581hp.

For me, the Speed 12 is not easy to drift with. Give it a little too much accel pedal and you will spin no matter what setup you use. It takes a very light touch and I don't have it. I'm like the incredible hulk with the pedals... Me want power! Me want to slow down! LOL If you can master light touch with the Speed 12, you can get great points in DT's, though.

Thanks for clearing up the whole week spin thing in that case it does make sense that the speed 12 would be used. Damn cheaters haha

it's a great car, tune the hell out of it and it works great. I even tamed the mighty nurburgring with it. won a few races there too, but it loves sarthe. stupid fast acceleration. 0-225 in about 12 seconds. BAM ITS GONE.

True, they are good points cars... As is the V8 Vantage, just not as good as the speed 12... :)

Hmm... am I the only person who think the CSpeed 12 is very good car - if you set it up right, as long as you are careful with your right foot then it is fast - very very fast

Never said it was easy to get top 10, was just saying it's not drifting... It's wheel spinning with style at best...

You're correct... I drift differently online in drift lounges to how I drift in drift trials. Just hammer on the power and drive the racing line and you get massive points. Not drifting. Point scoring system needs to be revised.

The Speed 12 is to me one of those cars that if you see in the top 10 rankings it will be used just like all the other cars in TT or DT events.

Anyway, like someone said the Speed 12 has lots of wheel spin (which it does) would be sort of the same as the Buick Special or V8 Vantage in the DT events with the wheel spin. I'm just making assumptions, I'm not entirely sure about this.
