Speed test 1/4 time, and indy's shadow concern

So I was dragging at Indy the other day and I thought that the car that I was using at the time needed some tweaking so I did the speed test and notice that I topped out before even reaching the 1/4 mark this is cause I make my tunes top out at exactly where the shadow is at in indy
So my question is should I change my tunes to top out on the speed test 1/4 mile or should i top out at indy's 1/4 mile mark?
Please respond all feedback is welcome.. Thanks
 
Tune A: Indy
Tune B: SSRX Speed Test
Tune C: The "oops i brought out the wrong tune" tune
 
First of all, welcome to GTP.

In regard to your car topping out at the shadow, it is a little shy of an actual 1/4 mile. I would tune for ssrx, and then if you want use that tune at indy.

Hahaha that's so true. :)
 
Honestly, tune for SSRX and race at SSRX. Indy's "end point" is something like 367m rather than 402m for the 1/4 mile.

That or tune at SSRX for Indy. Set 6th to top out at the end point at Indy, tune to make it faster on the 1/4 despite it.

I'm gonna buy that haha but I really want a speed 12 for the 1000 m
 
Build a Speed 12 for 1/4 that launches in 1st, get Speed 12 for virtually any distance. ;)

the extra 4 or 5 mph can sometimes be beneficial at indy too. by increasing my top speed in acr from its older top speed by 6mph increased my 0-60 somehow.
 
I agree with the others tune for ssrx and use it at indy.
