Spelling mistakes

All of us have explored this game, but has anyone found any spelling mistakes in the game? I just found one, and i'm wondering if there are any others.
In the description of the toyota Altezza touring car, the sentence is as follows: "But for our application, welve bumped redline up to 9500 rpm to wring out a grand total of 296 HP." im pretty sure welve isnt a word. Can anyone confirm this?
 
I/m sure this has been posted elsewhere, but to give you another example of a goof: find the 60's Corvette (C1) when it comes into the UCD and read the description. It/s all about trucks and crap. It/s been a few weeks since I read it (and laughed), but I am pretty darn sure it had NOTHING to do with a Vette :confused:
 
its everywhere mate...surprises me, this is a JAPANESE game!! they cant be that careless can they? globalisation surely does erase national identities doesnt it.
 
Yeah, I've seen quite a few, I forget which they were exactly. One was particularly bad as about two thirds of the way into the description, a sentence went into a run on loop and repeated itself as thought it was a copy paste error, and part of it was replicated twice. Silly mistakes everywhere, sad.

I also remember seeing a few "replete" where the appropriate word would have been "complete"...
 
in the joey logano nascar description, they sometimes forget the o at the end of his name so it says logan
 
The description for the 1954 Corvette is actually for the Silverado SST, not sure if it counts as a spelling mistake, but I guess its worth a mention.
 
Not entirely a spelling mistake, but every car I've come across that has some sort of fuel economy figures in the description all have 999.0L/KM. When I first read one, was thinking "damn, that Sucks!" then realised what the problem was.
Why on earth can they not use the official factory numbers?

**Maybe this would serve to show up the horribly simplified fuel depletion tables...?

I found one similar to that on a falken skyline race car. it said the name of the sieries was changed from name "A" to name "A" where it should be name "B".
 
A lot of the Japanese > English translations are really really poor. It's always been part of the character of GT though... so we kind of put up with it.

The spelling mistakes are the least of our worries. Still, if I had to reconstruct English in Japanese I'm sure my mistakes would be much worse :)

This also happens in the Portuguese translation. Also, in this version, the Takata Dome NSX 08' have the same description as the Raybrig 08'

Because they're both the same car. Other than the different team and the obvious liveries and driver (and perhaps some minor physical and technical differences), all the GT500 NSXes running in each of the different seasons are basically the same. And while there have been changes in regulation throughout the Super GT (or previously JGTC), it's only with the introduction of the HSV-010 that Honda have finally changed its GT500 entry into the series.
 
They spelled Tony Stewart as Stuart in one of the NASCAR descriptions.
