With one of the most beautiful body finishes of any car I've ever seen, the Splinter Concept is an almost completely wooden supercar that bears something of a resemblance to the Ford GT90. It weighs in at just 1,134 kgs and is powered by a twin supercharged 600 horsepower 4.6 litre V8, giving it a projected maximum speed of 240 mph, although this hasn't been tested.

Although the chances seem slim, I would love to see the Splinter debut on GranTurismo...

It's wood. That means that it will catch fire. I dislike.

Then again, you can't catch fire in GT6... :D

It will break very easily, so be careful when driving it.

Ugly....and I want it for some reason.

Would it expand if it got wet in a rainy race?
Not if it had several coats of a durable varnish. No need to worry at all.

I usually like companies that try something different, go against the grain if you will, but this car is knot for me.
