split my lip

What should I do with my lip.

Hi,

I'm not actually posting this because of my split lip, I just wanted to see if I still could post seeing as I havent done so in ...... ages.

But seeing as I do have a valid question, I'd like your input:

I fell down the stai... I mean I got into a fight with Mike Tyson and beat him to a pulp, but somehow he managed to clip my one on the lip just as he was falling down.

Anyway a bit of my lip, (its miniscule, about half a centimeter accross) came off but the mother didnt break off completely, just sort of hanged there. So after contemplating supergluing it back in its place, and disagreeing, I just kept pushing it up with my tongue.

The problem is it worked, it's now semi attached semi detached, and it feels like I have a goddam hemmoroid on my lip.

I'm torn (no pun), between letting it carry on healing and hoping it all sort of works out. Or taking the razor and cutting off the annoying lump of flesh before it gets too attached to my lip and cause me 10 times the pain if I do it later on.

What'dya say, should I slice or goddam nothing synonymous with join rhymes with slice.

Anyway I'm bored.

Lo, I agree with the above. go see a doc. don't do anything i might, cuz you will regret it in the morning.
 
If you get it stiched up, you'll not be able to play lippidywinks.

edit: LOL. Guess what? You don't have a hairlip, you have a STAIRLIP. :lol: Hahaha!

It's only a small piece of skin, so what's the worst that could happen if you cut it off?

It's annoying you now right? - So deal with that problem. If it hurts like hell later, deal with that problem, then.

You'll be fine - the mouth area tends to heal a lot faster that other parts of your body.
 
The way he describes it, it sounds like a huge chunk of his lip! It would really hurt and look deformed.

It might not grow back if it is a really large area.

I think it sounds more like a flap of skin on the inside of his lip - not visible from the outside. Not like his lip is split in half or anything. More like his tooth has gone into the skin, but not come out the other side, leaving a 'flap' of skin to annoy him.

Anyway, the mouth area heals really fast so it's probably 3/4's healed by now... :indiff:
 
Oooooh, I thought his whole lip was dangling like a turkey neck.

That's no big deal, you big baby. Just bite the rest off.

Ok I guess I need to give guys some idea.

My tooth went through the lip. It reached the other side so you can see it from both outside, in and under.

Lets envision a lip, lets take a knife put it straight into our mouths and at a 45 degree angle slice into the lip sidewards about a quarter inch deep. deep enough you can see a few nerve endings.

So now you have a triangular piece of flesh (not skin) hanging down about a half inch wide and a quarter inch long that doesnt want to fit nicely back into where it came from...when I smiled, it turns into a little fang (which was cool, I should have taken a picture).

Anyway, I just kept it there and i felt crazy amounts of heat being produced throughout the days, then some yellow strips were produced, and now it's currently at a scab on the outside, and on the inside it feels like when you have a fat deposit under the skin.

I have decided to let it heal just to see how a body heals in that situation. I know that if I pull hard enough I can get it to come off again.
 
just make sure you clean it a lot.



...with alcohol.
