It seems to me that trades are being made more and more in personal messages on this site, and I think it is unfortunate. I have seen this several times. You just say what you want, a person sends you a PM - and then you forget all about the thread you have started. I don't like it!!

When I start a thread from now on, I think I'll demand to be answered in the thread itself.

Unfortunate? Yes but it's up to the OP to specify whether or not they'll accept PM's. Perhaps better deals are struck between PM's.
