Sport Lobby - Random 1min penalty

The date is Tue, March 24th, 2026.
One of the public sport lobby events is a 15 lap race in Gr. 3’s at road Atlanta with 2X fuel and 4x tire deg.

Just quailed on pole and went the whole race on mediums as you easily can if you remotely take care of your tires, and finished 30 seconds ahead of 2nd.
The rules say no minimum amount of pit stops, implying you don’t need to by rules, so why did I get a minute penalty when I crossed the line.
Any help? Anything I missed? Is it because I didn’t use BOTH the required tire types? (Med and Soft)

Yes, while a pitstop in itself isn't necessary, you still need to do a pitstop to use the two mandated compounds.

A mandatory pitstop is a different regulation. You're not required to change tyres or take on fuel for a mandatory stop, but must take the stop to avoid the post-race penalty.

Adding that to a race where there is a required tyre type change regulation is redundant, as you'll be forced to take a stop to change the tyres. Although, as I recall, this exact thing has happened previously in a GTWS race.
