Let me (them) hear your opinions on sport mode price money here.

I personally have played since beta. Have bought only few cars outside daily reward. 44k km, 442 races with 190 top5 finishes and im sitting just under 8mil cr. Ridiculous i say. If id have spent the same time in offline I would have earned tens - maybe hundreds of millions..

Why is esports oriented game forcing offline grinding?

Its a stupid design choise.

A much more simple and balanced model would be, if anyone could earn the same amount of credits no matter what mode they play.

So there should be a resonable base amount of credits earned for playing for example 1 hour you get x amount of credit no matter wich mode you played. Then top that up with some bonus credits for placement in races and so on.

That way everyone can enjoy the game they prefer and still earn resonable credits while playing.

Now they are more or less forcing players to grind boring races on boring tracks with boring AI for endless amount of time.

I voted yes for the higher prize money, but what I would actually like are prize cars for winning both the Sport mode races as well as Campaign races. For example, a random prize car for a Sport mode win and a fixed prize car for the first win in each Campaign race.
The rewards, as they stand now, are not motivational at all.
Ofcourse being able to sell the gift cars would help as well, but that's a different topic.

Of course it should be higher. This is an obvious one and such a strange design choice to give people playing Sport mode, the supposed focus of this title, much less credits than those grinding "offline" just like you would (have done) in a previous GT title. I don't expect it to change either, it's just one of a number of "PD things" that they seem to do and stick with for whatever reason. :(

Scaling the payouts based on DR could be a good incentive too. Grass roots payouts for DRE to C, triple for DRB to A and possibly a 1.5 (or more...) multiplier for A+ and SS. Richer rewards for 'Gitting gud' might make people reevaluate how they play the game.

Maybe offer an incentive for a good SR rating with a preset bonus for each rank too.

This was one of the reasons why I voted No as people will do anything to win in the lower ranks as it is and its just further reward for being dirty should bad tactics pay off.

However, if they managed to tier rewards in such a way as you mention, that would be good, or perhaps a 10x bonus for a clean race!

The prize money should at least be more than an equivalent GT League event. I should at least get a couple hundred grand for winning a daily race.

As of the latest update, average podium payout in GTL; 1st - 92,944cr., 2nd - 49,525cr., 3rd - 34,141cr.

I actually have no idea what payouts are on Sport Mode, but only 30 GTL races out of 223 available pay 200,000+ for a win.

edit:

GT League payouts...

Should definitely be higher, although, maybe each SR/DR Rating has it's own, since a higher rank means better drivers, faster drivers etc.

FIA Races should even pay out more IMO.

For example, a C/B driver should get 100k for a win (1 Million for an FIA Race win), while an A+/S driver should get 750k (4 Million) for a win.

Similar to real life racing.

An additional idea would be a Clean-Race-in-a-row bonus, giving you a 75% bonus if you manage to get 5 clean races in a row, 100% for 10, 150% for 15, etc.

Just an idea. :)

I guess it's because I'm not interested in the 20 mil cars, but I always have plenty of cash in the game.

Just like I real life I tend to keep a float of about 4 million to buy anything new that takes my fancy.

I think the amount of XP gained in Sport Races is pathetic, just like the payouts relative to GT League.

Price money should be based on the average DR and SR in the room with bonuses for clean race (not leaving the track), contact free and penalty free races. Instead of red dots, gold stars with price money multiplier attached.

A couple of unpopular opinions:
The daily workout car is the log-in bonus, so we don't need both.
And considering you can do the daily workout in under 5 minutes of brainless driving, or actually win credits or even a car while doing it, not being able to sell the daily workout car is reasonable.

And a more popular opinion:
Yes, the credit payout for online racing should be increased. 👍

How much money do you need if sport mode is your thing? I can only recall one race in recent memory where purchasing a 10m+ car was required.

To be fair, my perspective is shaped by having done my share of grinding and already owning a few unicorns.
