*Houston Cars and Coffee

 I saw both of those in person. I don't know what it is about Houston. We have a lot of money here, but the drivers are terrible.

As for the kid in the M3. I don't know what happened with that. He must've been super inexperienced. Cause even with the blind hill. He was staring at that corner for quite a bit. He didn't make the least bit of effort to turn or brake, or anything. :odd:

Ok, my contribution. :)

I consider this the failest of all epics, and the epicest of all fails. Mostly because of the idiot driver's ID

Not sure if anyone else got the reference but when the guy said "Trata de arrancarlo, Carlos!" at :35, he was referring to this (2:52)...

 (it's funny cause I got it)

That's pretty much how I imagine driving culture in the US. Maybe I'm wrong or stereotyping too much, but isn't it all about having an oversized overpowered 'badass' truck that will never be used as a truck and then doing 'badass' things with it, just like in the video?

You couldn't be more right:

^ I love the difference between that, the Raptor and the Pro2 truck (follow the links in the videos)

Looking at these videos really hurts..

But just to add something to this thread..

History:
This car is called "LOADED".
It's a tuned up BMW M3 CSL.
It ran around Nürburgring (full lap) in 7.22.

ESS Supercharger: 530 bhp
Even lighter than a stock CSL (a LOT of parts replaced with carbonfibre etc.)

The owner put around 150.000$ in it. Still a road car ofc.
A Sweedish motorshow convinced the owner to loan them the car..
And when the driver talks while driving he says (translation): "Wow, it's amazing. So much grip. You just can't go off with this"

Talk about a fail..

Fixed.

One of my vids:

Unfortunately, I didn't get the impact on film, but it's still relevant enough! -kevin

Fixed.

Damn he almost saved it... Must feel so horrible.

Could have been a lot worse its probably not totalled.

And for the fail driving the "Loaded" thats what you get for not wearing a helmet on a race track.

I agree he looks very nervous behind the wheel but he didnt even try. May have been the pure shock of seeing a corner come up that fast. Fail none the less.

If you look at the wheel he does turn to the left but nothing much seems to happen, looks to me like he just hit a tighter corner after a crest and had been steadily accelerating all along, couldn't do much to avoid it. For me it was as much of an airbag fail though, shortage of actual air there?

That's how they typically work. Poof--and they immediately collapse. They are meant to only save the user during the first (usually the greatest) impact during a crash.

You must have been looking at too much auto show brochure photos. :indiff:

Yeah that makes sense I guess, interesting, I guess i'd never actually seen one before, just slow-mo crash tests when they were first introduced, which made them look like giant marshmallows blowing up in your face :)

I like how the crowds always start clapping after the fail occurs :)
