Re-installed this game recently due to my nostalgia for Mosport raceway outside of Toronto.
Was glad to find a thriving community for this game still exists!
Found a download for the Nurburgring Nordshleife as well as some groovy modded cars.
Here's one:

1998 Porsche GT1 (Le Mans winner #26)
Dust it off if you have a copy.
The physics ain't no Enthusia, but running on Mosport and Road Atlanta are still pretty fun!

Here's a link to one good mod site.

Does it really matter when it's a great sim?
The legendey F1 games, cannot remember the maker who made the best F1 Games of all time. But he proved the gameplay made it more fun, even if the graphics were not top notch.

I have still got this somewhere, it was a cool game but I never got that good at it back in the day cos I had to use the keyboard, now I have the wheel I might load it up again though.

Live what game are you talking about, are you talking about that lengendey F1 game. That finished at the 3rd game, after the 2nd and 1st ones. Or are you talking about SportsCar GT.

Awww... they didn't give the Mclaren much love...

No doubt the stock graphics aren't up to modern standards, but keep in mind the game is about 6-7 years old.
It was pretty cutting edge stuff for GT fans back then.
I'm running it on XP and the audio is skeee-reewed....lots of echo and delay.
I have to listen to tunes while playing it.
There are several cheats out there that allow you to max out your money and unlock all the tracks so you don't have to go through the season to get to the good stuff.

The reason I got back into it was because of Mosport.
Saw a few Canadian F1 Grand Prix there back in the 1970's before it moved to Montreal.
I'm glad that track made it into at least one racing sim!

It doesn't look all that, but Mosport is, speaking of experience, one hell of a track. Can't even imagine how it is to drive the GT1 Porsche down those hills. :scared:
