Official Spot Race rules summary:
Race is open to all comers.
Event as prescribed by the steward.
Entrant must submit his/her time for the prescribed event,
before the published closing date and time. If no time is specified,
it is 23:59.999 board time on the given date.
Steward will publish:
- the race event to be run
- restrictions on car type (if any)
- restrictions on driving style (if any)
- restrictions on practice (if any)
- contact details for submissions (email or post to thread).
- Closing date
Steward will adjudicate any dispute.
Steward will post the result.
Stewardship of the next race will pass to the last placed
non-disqualified finisher other than the steward him/herself
No hybrid cars unless explicitly stated. (A 'hybrid' is a car not generally available in Gran Turismo, imported from a cheat cartridge.)

This is a race that is going on over at GTBN and since I race a lot out of here also, I thought I would give you gauys a chance at it also. It is the longest running race series that I know of.
Well since I have the honor's, this spot race will be simple.
It's a 3 lap race.
The track Deep Forest II
The Car Arcade Denso Supra No tuning!
The race Arcade/Normal
100% clean. Just like in a Board challenge race. Keep at least two wheels on the track. Light AI brushing is allowed on the opening lap as long as you don't gain a position from it.
You can discuss Fastest laps but not total time. Send race times to jhealey110636mi@comcast.net
The race will end July 8th, 2004. Midnite EST
I'm going on vacation starting Monday and will return July 5th so if you have any questions, post them quick. I plan on winning this race so if you want it, be faster!
For extra fun I will run a fastest lap leaderboard if you post you're lap time in the race thread. Good luck!
