So, anyone every have any issues with squeaky shoes? I have a pair of Nike Air Insurgents and there is a pad on the bottom of the shoe under where the ball of your foot is that squeaks. I found some info on it but nothing to cure the problem. Anyone have any ideas?

I've had that on some AirMax's in the past. My squeak came from a puncture in one of the air pockets in the soles. I tested it by dipping the sole in some shallow water, like you would with a bike tyre puncture, and then sealed it with some silicon sealant. 👍

I'll give that a try. I know that the pad on the bottom that is squeaking is separate from the bottom of the shoe, but I'm not sure if it was originally pressurized or not. I was thinking of trying to pry it off and glue it or something like that, but I dont think it would hold up for very long.

It almost seems like the 2 faces are rubbing on each other and causing a sound.

I had a squeaky pair of Converse One Stars. The padding on the back of the heel had worn down and revealed the plastic behind so my socks would rub against it causing a real irritating squeak. Had to bin them in the in the end. 👎
